Here are a few of my pictures from my trip to Q- ba Summer 2009. It is truly a fascinating country/culture and I hope everyone will be able to experience it one day.
There were old cars everywhere. I was fascinated by them and how well they were maintained.
It was fun to get to know the fifteen people on my team.
The high school students we visited were so passionate. It was inspiring!
Even younger kids came to see what all the fuss was about.
There were signs like this just about every mile.
It's moments like these that make me wish I had a really fancy camera and that I knew how to use that camera.
Katie drew quite a crowd when she taught the kids to make friendship bracelets. It was a great idea.
As usual, I found a life-size plastic statue to pose with. Usually it is Colonel Sanders but this guy looks more like Chef Boyardee.
