Latest Trip: Summer 2012
I returned to C for one month. I did a variety of things including: teach English, run an English camp, teach about the good book, help with the short-term team and long-term team and I got to return to O-town and see the precious kids. Back to that Big Country: Summer 2011
Shannon and I had a great time this trip. We got to reconnect with old friends, teach about our favorite book, help with the short-term team and long-term team, and teach English. We also got to go to O-town. Those pictures are password protected under the tab, O-town.
My July/August trip to Asia
I got to lead a DTS team to a large Asian country for July and August 2010. My co-leader was Joey Brunette and we had a great time together with our students. We taught English, shared about our favorite book, held an English camp and led a Kids' camp about character. We also went to O-town, which was an amazing experience for us all. My Winter Trip- C in 2010
I got to spend 20 days there this trip and I had a great time. For security reasons, I must be vague but we taught English and visited with friends.
Thailand 2006
I led a team to Thailand in 2006 with my good friend, Matt Laskey. While in Thailand, we helped clean up slums, played with kids and ministered to prostitutes in the red light district. I loved Thai culture and its people and I would love to go back someday.
Bangladesh 2006
After Thailand, Matt and I led our team to Bangladesh for almost three months. We helped a local pastor, taught English, visited with people and shared with them. I had never been to a Muslim country or such an impoverished country before. It was an eye-opening experience.
C 2008
I was part of a small team that went to C to see what was already going on there. We met some great people and I got to teach some English, which I enjoy. I loved it so much that I am hoping to go back for longer.
